Rapid advances in geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence, and urban sensing are fundamentally transforming how cities are understood and managed. GeoAI is increasingly applied in urban planning, environmental monitoring, public health, and disaster response. However, these developments also introduce critical challenges related to uncertainty, reliability, interpretability, and ethical use.

Against this background, the theme Trustworthy GeoAI for Resilient Urban Futures aims to advance robust, transparent, and human-centered geospatial intelligence. The conference brings together scholars from GIScience, urban analytics, data science, and related fields to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, methodological innovation, and real-world applications.

地理空间技术、人工智能和城市感知的快速发展正在深刻改变人们理解与管理城市的方式。GeoAI日益应用于城市规划、环境监测、公共卫生和灾害响应，同时也带来了不确定性、可靠性、可解释性和伦理使用等关键挑战。

The conference offers two participation routes: abstract and full paper. An abstract participant pays the registration fee only. A full-paper participant pays both the registration fee and a separate publication fee because the paper will be published in the conference proceedings. See the Submission page for details. The publication-fee portal will open on the CPGIS website soon.

Paper registration requirement: Each accepted paper must be covered by a unique registration from one of the author(s). One registration fee covers one paper presentation only. We recommend one registration and one paper presentation per attendee. If an attendee presents multiple papers, a separate registration fee is required for each paper presentation, and the registration system will allow multiple fee payments by the same attendee.

Full papers may be published in the IEEE GRSS conference proceedings, or, after peer review by the relevant journal, in a special issue of Annals of GIS, Information Geography, Computational Urban Science, or the Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis (JGSA).

  • Accepted abstracts and full papers will be invited for oral or poster presentation.
  • Submissions with concrete research results receive acceptance priority.
  • English proofreading is strongly recommended. Papers that do not meet format and language requirements will not be reviewed for content.
  • A full paper must be presented by an author at the Geoinformatics annual conference to be included in the proceedings. Accepted papers not presented by an author will not be published.
  • Because of copyright restrictions, an accepted paper may be published in either the conference proceedings or a journal, but not both.
